Its no secret the KTM TPI platform leaves a lot to be desired, and after picking up our own KTM 300 TPI test bike back when they were originally released in Australia, we were able to witness this first hand.
Now after hundreds of hours of testing on both the dyno and on the track by novice to professional riders all over the world, we have developed a wide range of tunes to suit a wide range of riding conditions and engine modifications (aftermarket exhausts, cylinder heads, porting, reeds etc)
We have found that with nothing but an ECU remap with perfectly calibrated fuel and ignition tables, we were able to significantly improve the performance, rideability and fuel economy of these bikes!
- Improved throttle response making the bike more predictable.
- Part throttle splutter almost completely eliminated.
- 18-19 models have adjusted thermo fan settings (these are the same as the 20+ models)
- Improved oil injection mapping under all conditions.
- Improved fuel economy.
- Optimised Fuel and Ignition tables.
- Improved both Map 1 and Map 2 with different mapping options available.
- New spark plug and idle adjustment screw included (Spark plug only for 300 TPI models)
- All year models of TPI including 150, 250 and 300.
